Smoked Cannabis as a Pharmaceutical
Multiple clinical trials have demonstrated the potential efficacy of medical marijuana in the treatment of pain and other medical conditions. Despite these studies, regulatory agencies and professional medical associations have concluded that there is a lack of safety and efficacy data to consider the prescription of medical marijuana as professionally acceptable. I will examine the feasibility of developing smoked Cannabis as a controlled drug for prescription by physicians.
